The Popular MonsTOUR II: World Domination made its second stop of the tour on Thursday Aug 23, 2024 at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, WA.
The tour consists of headliners Falling in Reverse, who just released their latest album Popular Monster which was released on August 16, 2042.
The band had been teasing a new album release for quite some time releasing video singles for “Popular Monster”, “Zombified”, “Voices in My Head”, “Watch the World Burn”, “Last Resort (Reimagined)”, “Ronald”, “All My Life” and “Prequel”.
“Highway to Hell” by AC/DC played over the sound system as the video screens showed the band making their way to stage. As the highlights went down and the music stopped playing, Falling in Reverse opened their set with “Prequel” the opening track and latest video from Popular Monster.
They went straight into “Zombified” followed by “I’m Not a Vampire”.
At the completion of “Just Like You”, the band proceeded to leave the stage amongst a loud orchestra of boos from the crowd that weren’t happy that band “ended” their set after only seven songs. The band were stopped and told to return to the stage and singer Ronnie Radke was given a black cowboy hat as the band came back to the stage and launched into “All My Life” followed by “Popular Moster”, “Voices in My Head”, “Watch the World Burn” and “Ronald” which saw Tech N9ne join the group to perform his rap section within that song.
Falling in Reverse played a solid set with a ton of pyro and as the band performed, the videos the singles were played on the screen as the large Thursday night crowd had an amazing time.
Direct support for Falling in Reverse were Black Veil Brides.
Also on the bill were Dance Gavin Dance and Tech N9ne.
